This journal provides immediate open access to its contents, under the principle of making research available for free to the public and encouraging a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Thus, Architek participates in open access initiatives to foster scientific information, as stated by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (2002) and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities (2003), as well as the Spain’s Science Law which has recently adhered to the international trend of the Open Access Paradigm, defined in international declarations as "free access through Internet to scientific literature, respecting the existing copyright laws."
Since its inception, this journal has assumed this social commitment to the universal dissemination of knowledge.
